Search

There are multiple ways to search Texas Heritage Online:

• Keyword Search. You can enter your keywords in the basic search box to the left, which will search a collection of library catalogs and databases. Currently, only a few collections are accessible through this search.
• Additional Search options:


• Search by Title, Author, or Subject . If you know specific details about the item you are searching for, the "Search by author, title, or subject" option will allow you to create a more restrictive search. You can also select specific collections in which to search.
• Search for People. You can search many collections using an individual's first and last name; additional keywords can be added to refine your search. Again, you can limit your search to specific collections, such as those of primarily genealogical interest.
• Search by Location. You will eventually be able to search by location for many items by simply clicking on a map of Texas. Check back soon to explore this option!
